Caring Families

Doing Good for Brazil and the World

Just as the Way family has the opportunity to travel the globe and to learn about associations, foundations, NGOs, libraries, schools, local projects and the many people committed to doing good around the world, we want to invite your traveling family to be part of a network of caring families

Our platform freely publicizes the social projects of our partners, showing that many companies are already engaged and concerned with making the world a more sustainable place. Whether by preserving nature, generating jobs or protecting the basic rights of all living beings, the important thing is to do good!

We believe that if we manage to germinate this seed of solidarity within each family, we will create people who are more empathetic and aware of their role in the preservation of lives and the planet.

Because these are projects that we endorse, your family will be able to help with peace of mind, whether financially, spreading the word, or visiting…

Learn about some of them and become involved right away:

The Almerinda Malaquias Foundation (FAM) was created, in 1997, by Miguel Rocha da Silva and Jean-Daniel Vallotton. They conceived the implementation of an education and professional training center for the population in the municipality of Novo Airão where, through the reuse of the wood discarded from local shipbuilding, the trade of carpentry is being taught.
It employs 40 families and offers courses on sustainability for the protection of the forest for children.

Vagalume empowers children from rural communities in the Amazon and the north of Brazil by promoting reading and the management of community libraries as a space for sharing knowledge.

Why this name? It is called Vagalume (firefly) because many of these insects live in the rural communities where the community libraries are based. Moreover, it is an insect that lights up and illuminates. We like to think that the books and the reading mediators do the same thing: they illuminate wherever they go!

It is a transparent NGO, which receives awards every year for its work.

Acting for the empowerment of people in situations of risk and social vulnerability, using gastronomy as a tool to connect people and to generate social mobility.

The Footprint Foundation by the group of hotels of The Safari Collection has several propositions in Kenya, from helping in the conservation of certain species such as the Rothschild’s Giraffe or the rhinoceros, which are threatened with extinction, to assisting Masai communities and in the construction of schools. There are many ways to help, but a simple way to do this is to sponsor a giraffe, for example, which costs US$ 50 a year.

Read our article about the Giraffe Manor, where those who are staying there are already helping.
