What are your first impressions?
A new luxury resort, built in 2017, with excellent services (5 Diamonds certified), modern and all the rooms have a balcony and a hammock. Hotel Xcaret has a very practical proposal for families with children and adolescents with All Parks All Fun, with transport and access included to the group parks (Xcaret, Xplor, Xel-Há, Xplor Fuego, Xenses, Xoximilco and Xenotes), in addition to all food and drink. The all-inclusive offer also has transfers from the airport and a catamaran trip to the Isla Mujeres.
What attractions are available for children?
Inside the hotel, there is an enormous range of toys, a games room and a children’s pool with special slides in the shape of an octopus. In addition, there is a private beach with calm water, which is excellent for babies. However, the best part is actually the free access to the different parks that belong to the hotel group. The Xcaret park is excellent for small children and the whole family because it has cenotes for diving, a snorkeling area, many animals and birds and even the possibility of diving with dolphins. Xel-Há is recommended for older children and adolescents because it is more radical and has zip lines.
The Resort + Parks allows for a double amount of fun and provides excellent service for vacations and commemorative dates.
NOTE: It is highlighted that there are accessible rooms for wheelchair users and many areas of the hotel are also accessible.
What are the attractions for adults?
The resort is extensive and has an infinity pool, many trails, bicycle tours, a private beach and its own rivers for kayaking. There are many rest areas with hammocks, a gym and a private spa area.
The suites are large, comfortable and some have direct access to the pool or others have a bathtub on the balcony.
There is a large variety of restaurants and the quality is excellent. Some restaurants must be booked upon arrival, which can be arranged with the help of the concierge.
What can we find nearby?
The Xcaret Mexico is a one-hour drive from Cancun airport and only 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen, from where you can take the ferry to dive at the island of Cozumel. This is considered to be one of the best diving and snorkeling sites in the world, due to the visibility and transparency of the water. It is also worth taking advantage of and visiting the archaeological site of Tulum, which is 50 minutes away. Chichén Itzá is almost a 3-hour drive by car, but remember that this impressive Mayan pyramid is one of the 7 wonders of the modern world and is well worth a visit.
By taking advantage of the hotel, the different parks and the local attractions, you can easily expect a very satisfactory week of vacation.
